Mexican food is the most popular cuisine in Laguna Beach, with several restaurants earning accolades from locals as well as tourists. Javier's is considered to be the best Mexican restaurant in the city. Las Brisas is pricier than Javier's, but patrons can enjoy the outdoor patio and ocean view while they sip their margaritas. Taco Loco is a tiny sidewalk taco joint with food that is often described as “hippie Mex”. Coyote Grill is recommended, as is Papa's Tacos. If you are not a fan of Mexican food, there are still plenty of options, such as seafood, Pacific Rim cuisine or sushi. Studio is well-regarded, with its 'eclectic Californian' cuisine.
